The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) has confirmed that a white substance discovered on a piece of land in the country does not pose any environmental or health risks. The announcement follows laboratory testing conducted by the ministry’s specialist teams after a citizen reported the material.

Upon receiving the report, MoECC promptly dispatched inspection teams to the location to collect soil samples for analysis. The subsequent laboratory results identified the white residue as rainwater left behind from a tanker, ruling out the presence of any chemicals or hazardous substances.

The ministry emphasized that the affected site shows no signs of environmental contamination or damage to local vegetation. Authorities continue to monitor the area to ensure ongoing environmental safety.
