The luxury hospitality brand Aman is continuing its expansion across the Americas with the announcement of its first ranch-style resort, Aman Sanu, located in Texas Hill Country, approximately 90 minutes from Austin. This new property will offer private villas with expansive canyon views and feature Aman’s inaugural fully serviced stables, catering to an upscale clientele seeking a refined ranch experience.

Aman Sanu will join an existing network of resorts in North America, which includes Amangiri in Utah, Amangani in Wyoming’s mountains, and Aman New York, situated in the Crown Building overlooking Central Park. The group also has projects underway in Beverly Hills and Miami Beach. Additionally, Amanvari, poised to open mid-year in Mexico, marks the brand's first resort in the country.

Nestled on a 600-hectare private estate known as Costa Palmas on the unspoiled East Cape of Baja California Sur, Amanvari is located on an estuary between desert dunes and the Sea of Cortez. The property will feature 18 suites and casitas elevated to maximize views of the ocean and the Sierra de la Laguna mountains. This development forms part of an exclusive enclave that includes a Four Seasons hotel, a deepwater marina, yacht club, upscale village with several dining venues, and a nightclub designed by Martin Brudnizki. The estate also hosts a Robert Trent Jones II-designed golf course that weaves through gardens and orchards along the shoreline.

Reflecting the region’s diverse landscapes—desert, sea, and estuary—the interiors of Amanvari’s accommodations will combine materials such as white concrete, natural stone, and tropical hardwoods, accented by local ceramics and artwork. The resort’s suites will offer private pools, floor-to-ceiling windows, open-air terraces, and courtyards, with some positioned directly on the beach or beside the estuary.

Dining options at Amanvari will include signature Japanese and Italian restaurants—Sesuari and Arva—alongside a lounge bar and a beach club featuring open-fire cooking. Wellness remains a cornerstone of the Aman experience, with the Mexican property offering treatment facilities including a modern interpretation of a traditional temazcal (sweat lodge), six private treatment rooms, and two “Hydro Houses” equipped with a banya (wet-steam sauna) and hammam. Additional amenities include an open-air yoga pavilion and a 24-hour gym.

Guests will have access to a variety of outdoor activities coordinated by the resort’s concierge, including horseback riding, hiking, snorkeling, and diving. Amanvari is situated less than an hour from San Jose del Cabo International Airport, which offers direct flights from nearly 40 North American cities, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Houston.
