BBC One's documentary series "Reported Missing" continues its focus on the challenges surrounding teenage mental health as it investigates the cases of two missing adolescents in Scotland for the first time. The program, airing at 9 p.m., follows the efforts of police to locate Larissa, 16, and Bobby, 18, both of whom have complex mental health histories.

Larissa, who has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, disappeared following a family dispute. At the time of her disappearance, she was dressed in her pyjamas and had left without her prescribed medication, raising concerns about her well-being. In a separate case in Edinburgh, Bobby, 18, has also gone missing. He has previously attempted suicide, adding urgency to the search and the concern for his safety.

The series highlights the difficulties faced by families and law enforcement in such situations. Both sets of parents remain anxious but hopeful as police continue their investigations. Through these individual stories, "Reported Missing" aims to shed light on the intersection of youth mental health and the risks associated with disappearances, emphasizing the importance of timely intervention and the ongoing challenges in protecting vulnerable teenagers.
