Judy Finnigan and Richard Madeley are reportedly exploring the possibility of returning to the media spotlight with a new podcast project. The couple, who have not released a television series together for 17 years, revealed their interest during an appearance on Channel 5’s program Vanessa.
Richard Madeley indicated that discussions have taken place with a producer friend, an ex-editor of the daytime show This Morning. “We’ve had a conversation with a very good producer friend of ours, an ex-editor of This Morning, and we have kicked a few ideas around. It’s in the air,” he said, suggesting the project is still in the early planning stages.
The couple, well known for their joint work on television, have not confirmed any official timeline or further details about the podcast, leaving it unclear when or if the venture will come to fruition. Their last collaborative TV series aired nearly two decades ago, marking a significant gap since their last joint media project.
The potential return to entertainment through a podcast reflects a growing trend among television personalities who are embracing digital platforms to connect with audiences. However, as the plans remain tentative, fans and industry observers await further announcements for confirmation and specifics about the content or format of the proposed podcast.
