The 15th edition of the Arabian Women Exhibition opened Monday at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center under the patronage of the Qatari Businesswomen Forum at Qatar Chamber. The event was inaugurated by Al Anoud Zayed Al Muhannadi, Director of Membership Affairs at Qatar Chamber, and will run through September 5, 2026.
The exhibition features approximately 200 booths presenting the work of around 140 Qatari women entrepreneurs alongside participants from other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries as well as Morocco, Jordan, Türkiye, Lebanon, Egypt, Pakistan, India, and France. It provides a platform for showcasing the latest fashion trends for the Autumn/Winter 2026 season, highlighting a range of women's designs and accessories.
Ibtihaj Al-Ahmadani, Chairwoman of the Qatari Businesswomen Forum and Qatar Chamber Board Member, stated that the exhibition has evolved significantly over previous editions in terms of organization, product diversity, and participant numbers. She emphasized the growing role of women in advancing economic development and innovation. Al-Ahmadani also noted a collaboration with M7, which brings together regional talents through designs that combine contemporary aesthetics with traditional craftsmanship, reflecting the creativity of Qatar, the GCC, and the broader region.
The forum chairwoman invited visitors and those interested in design to explore the curated selection of regional creations, describing the exhibition as an experience that unites fashion, design, and craftsmanship. She highlighted Qatar Chamber’s dedication to supporting women’s active participation in economic and commercial sectors and fostering their impact on both economic and social development.
Al-Ahmadani further described the event as a valuable opportunity for women entrepreneurs to network, discover potential areas for cooperation, and establish business alliances, contributing to increased female participation in the private sector and broader economic diversification efforts.
Tamader Al-Marri, Director of Vogue Event Company, which organizes the exhibition, expressed satisfaction in hosting the 15th edition under the theme “Athar (Impact),” highlighting the influence women have through their creativity and professional endeavors. She characterized the exhibition as a leading platform that brings together prominent Qatari and Arab women entrepreneurs and innovators with the goal of showcasing their achievements and advancing their economic and social contributions.
Al-Marri also reiterated gratitude to the Qatari Businesswomen Forum at Qatar Chamber for its ongoing support, which underscores confidence in the essential role women play in successfully leading businesses and promoting economic diversification. She expressed hope that the exhibition would offer an exceptional experience for both participants and visitors, providing opportunities to explore innovations in fashion and women’s products and connecting entrepreneurs with potential investors.
