Police in London have offered a £20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of a man wanted in connection with the fatal stabbing of 21-year-old filmmaking student Finbar Sullivan. The appeal centers on Jordan Asije, 22, who is believed to be in north London and has been urged by detectives to surrender voluntarily.

Sullivan was fatally wounded in a stabbing incident at Primrose Hill, a park in north London, during the early evening of Tuesday, 7 April. Police have described the attack as stemming from a fight. Another man in his twenties, reportedly a friend of Sullivan’s, was also injured but sustained non-life-threatening wounds. This individual required surgery following the assault.

Three men—27-year-old Oluwad-amilola Ogunyankinnu, 25-year-old Alexis Bidace, and 25-year-old Ernest Boateng—have been charged with Sullivan’s murder. A fourth man, 18-year-old Khalid Abdulqadir, faces a charge of grievous bodily harm. All four remain in custody awaiting trial, which is scheduled to take place at the Old Bailey in April next year.

Detective Inspector Andy Griffin, who is leading the investigation, emphasized the progress made but stressed the importance of locating Asije. He issued a direct appeal to Asije, encouraging him to hand himself in, and warned that anyone knowingly assisting him to avoid arrest could face criminal charges.

Sullivan, known for producing music videos for drill rap artists, was carrying his new camera at the time of the attack. He had been to Primrose Hill to film at a vantage point. His father, Christopher Sullivan, a musician and co-founder of the 1980s band Blue Rondo à la Turk and the Wag Club in Soho, has expressed his commitment to preserving his son's memory following the tragedy.

The police have released an image of Asije to aid in his identification and continue to seek assistance from the public to resolve the case.
