Many people carry a dream in their hearts that remains unfulfilled yet never forgotten. For Sangita Kulkarni of Thane, that dream was to pursue acting. From childhood, she felt a strong attraction to theater, films, and the stage. Participating in small school programs and hearing the applause brought her immense joy, making her feel as if that was her true world. She was certain she would study acting and build a career in it, but life took a different course.

Kulkarni eventually set aside her ambitions for acting to focus on education, employment, and establishing stability in life. Gradually, her desire to study acting receded into a quiet corner of her heart. Occasionally, watching a compelling film or powerful play would evoke a thought: “What if I had followed that path? Perhaps I would be doing something very different today.”

For her, this unfulfilled aspiration is not merely an incomplete dream but also a tender memory, serving as a reminder that there was once something deeply yearned for and that it still lives somewhere within. Even now, whenever time permits, she finds herself reciting lines in front of a mirror, attempting to express emotions, and reconnecting with that long-held passion.

Though the opportunity to stand on a grand stage never materialized, Kulkarni’s love for acting remains alive. She reflects that some things, even when left incomplete, do not vanish entirely. They are preserved within and can resurface when the time is right. She believes that it is never too late to return to those dreams and perhaps embrace the chance to pursue them anew.
