KUWAIT CITY — Kuwaiti Interior Ministry officials conducted a security campaign in the Mahboula area resulting in the detention of 221 individuals on various charges. The operation, carried out recently, targeted wanted persons, residency violators, and others involved in criminal activities.

Among those arrested, 109 were sought in connection with criminal and security-related cases. Additionally, 62 individuals were found to have expired residency permits, while 31 were lacking valid identification documents. Authorities also apprehended 11 people exhibiting abnormal behavior and eight others in possession of narcotics or alcohol. During the campaign, nine vehicles associated with wanted individuals were confiscated.

In addition to these arrests, security personnel recorded a total of 790 traffic violations throughout the operation. The ministry emphasized that the campaign aims to enhance public safety and enforce legal compliance in the area.
