A reunion event celebrating the popular television series "30 Rock" took place this weekend at Radio City Music Hall, featuring a lineup of cast members and celebrity guests. The NBC comedy, which originally aired from 2006 to 2013, brought together familiar faces and highlights from the show in a night of entertainment and tribute.
Conan O’Brien opened the program and later participated in a “Dating Game”-style sketch alongside Dean Winters, who reprised his role as Dennis Duffy, and Jon Hamm, who portrayed Liz Lemon’s character’s boyfriend. Jane Krakowski performed a medley of songs associated with her character Jenna Maroney, including "Muffin Top," and was joined by former tennis star John McEnroe for a rendition of "Tennis Night in America." Lin-Manuel Miranda also made an appearance, performing a musical number with Tracy Morgan.
Alec Baldwin returned to his role as Jack Donaghy during the event, delivering commentary that included jabs at Donald Trump, reflecting the character’s staunch Republican persona. The gathering also paid tribute to late former cast members, including Grizz Chapman and Elaine Stritch, the latter recognized as the show’s best guest star. Stritch was honored posthumously, with actress Katrina Bowden noting her absence due to her passing. The award was accepted on her behalf by actor Tom Hanks.
The reunion offered fans a nostalgic look back at the acclaimed series, combining humor, music, and heartfelt acknowledgments of those who contributed to the show's legacy.
