Muscat — Approximately 4,600 students are participating in summer programs organized by the Directorate-General of Scouts and Guides across Oman. These activities aim to develop the skills and capabilities of young people to prepare them for contributing to the country’s future growth.
The programs, held throughout all governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, include a broad range of cultural, social, scouting, guiding, and sports activities. Designed to engage students during their 2026 summer vacation, the initiatives focus on fostering personal development and community involvement.
Officials from the Directorate-General of Scouts and Guides emphasized the importance of these programs in nurturing disciplined, motivated, and socially responsible youth. By incorporating diverse activities, the programs seek to enhance students’ leadership, teamwork, and practical skills, aligning with Oman’s broader goals of national development.
