Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism has launched a new initiative called ‘A Dubai Invite,’ designed to provide residents with exclusive hotel, dining, and attraction offers when hosting family and friends in the emirate. The programme runs from July 20 through October 31, 2026, and offers benefits valued at more than Dh3,000.
To participate, UAE nationals and residents aged 18 and above with a valid Emirates ID can nominate visiting family members or friends through an online portal. Nominations can be submitted in groups of up to five, and residents may nominate multiple visitors, though they can receive a maximum of three rewards packages. Eligible visitors must be non-residents of the UAE arriving in Dubai on a valid tourist or visit visa between July 20 and October 31, 2026, either by air, sea, or road. Visitors are responsible for securing their own flights, visas, accommodation, and travel expenses.
Once nominated visitors arrive, their presence is verified through authorised government systems. Following confirmation, residents receive an email outlining their personalised benefits package and instructions for redemption. These offers, which are valid until December 31, 2026 unless otherwise specified, include hotel stays, dining discounts, and access to attractions across the city.
Participating hotels in the programme include Melia Desert Palm, which offers up to 45 percent off rooms, suites, and villas, along with spa and food credits. ME Dubai by Meliá provides a 35 percent discount on accommodation rates and dining, complimentary room upgrades, and free stays for children under 12. At Mina Seyahi hotels—including Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Waterpark, W Dubai - Mina Seyahi, and The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi—guests receive a full credit back on their room spend to use on dining and spa services. Additionally, selected IHG properties are offering a third night free when guests pay for two nights, alongside restaurant discounts up to 30 percent at certain outlets.
The programme’s organisers note that all offers remain subject to availability and may change during the campaign period. Residents interested in participating must complete the online nomination process by September 30, 2026, while visitors must arrive by October 31 to be eligible.
The ‘A Dubai Invite’ initiative aims to encourage local residents to invite friends and family to experience Dubai’s hospitality offerings while boosting the city’s tourism sector during the summer and autumn months.
