Aaron Jason Feinberg and Allison Indie Parsons, the cofounder of the popular social media project Meet Cutes NYC and his longtime partner, have recently tied the knot in a ceremony held in Washington State. Their relationship, which began in late 2022 after several postponed first dates, blossomed into a partnership intertwined with both personal and professional milestones.
Feinberg, 32, and Parsons, 31, initially connected through the dating app Hinge. Parsons, who was new to New York City at the time, canceled their first two planned dates—once citing work obligations and once claiming illness, both of which she later admitted were excuses rooted in her contentment with her single life. Eventually, she agreed to meet Feinberg at a Chelsea bar, where their chemistry was immediate. The three-hour first date led to subsequent meetings, and after Parsons’ family trip to Tahiti, they began dating exclusively.
Both possess backgrounds in business and communications. Parsons, who grew up in Seattle and earned a degree in marketing and communication from the University of Washington, works as a senior customer success manager at Monday.com. Feinberg, raised in Port Washington, New York, is a Binghamton University graduate with a focus in finance and began his career in sales before launching his own venture.
Three months into their relationship, Feinberg partnered with childhood friends Victor Lee and Jeremy Bernstein to create Meet Cutes NYC, a social media series that captures spontaneous interviews with couples sharing their love stories on the streets of New York. The concept rapidly gained popularity, drawing millions of followers across platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. It has featured prominent figures, including President Joseph R. Biden Jr., First Lady Jill Biden, and actor Keegan-Michael Key. The group has expanded its reach to London and introduced spin-offs like Besties NYC, which focuses on friendship stories.
Feinberg eventually left his prior employment to focus full time on the growing enterprise, which films several times a week and recently launched a "Missed Connections" photo booth in Times Square. Parsons has been a vocal supporter of the project, appreciating its emphasis on the positive and joyful aspects of human connection.
Their personal relationship reflects many of the themes found in the stories Feinberg documents. Both cite the importance of balancing individual interests with shared experiences, a lesson drawn from the long marriages of their parents. Feinberg has also incorporated relationship insights gained from interviewing over 10,000 couples, such as the value of daily acts of care and prioritizing one another amidst life’s demands.
After nearly a year of dating, the couple moved into an apartment in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Feinberg proposed on April 20, 2025, on the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, choosing a moment symbolic of their shared aspirations. The engagement coincided with preparations for the publication of their book, Meet Cutes NYC, released in October 2025.
They were married on August 8, 2026, at Bella Luna Farms near Seattle in a ceremony officiated by a childhood friend. The event featured a farm-to-table dinner, a nine-piece band, and mingling amid natural surroundings. The couple honeymooned on Hawaii’s Big Island and are planning an African safari for the following spring.
Reflecting on their partnership, Parsons highlighted Feinberg’s curiosity and ability to connect with others, while Feinberg praised Parsons’ openness and empathy, qualities that drew him from their very first meeting. Their wedding celebration began with a playful nod to the Meet Cutes brand: their friends off-camera asked if they were a couple, to which the newlyweds joyfully responded that they had just married.
