Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, met with Dr. Badr AbdelaIty, Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptian Expatriates, in Abu Dhabi to discuss recent developments in the Middle East. The two officials focused on efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region and to ensure the freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz in line with international law.

During their meeting, the ministers emphasized the importance of advancing regional and international cooperation aimed at achieving lasting security and stability. They underscored the need for a comprehensive approach that supports the aspirations of Middle Eastern peoples for development and prosperity.

Sheikh Abdullah and Dr. AbdelaIty also reviewed the longstanding fraternal relations between the UAE and Egypt, highlighting the continued expansion of bilateral cooperation. Both sides expressed a commitment to further strengthening their partnership across various sectors to support their shared interests and development goals.

The discussions reflect ongoing diplomatic efforts by Gulf and North African states to address geopolitical challenges while promoting regional stability and economic cooperation.
