AC Cars has announced the production of its new AC Cobra GT Coupe, marking a significant step in the company’s ongoing revival. The model, which was initially unveiled as a concept in 2024, shares much of its design and technology with the 2025 Cobra Roadster.

The GT Coupe is powered by a Ford-derived 5.0-litre V8 engine, available in two configurations. The naturally aspirated version delivers 450bhp, while a supercharged variant produces 720bhp. Both variants are capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in under 3.5 seconds. Buyers can choose between a six-speed manual transmission or a 10-speed automatic gearbox.

The interior combines traditional and modern elements, featuring machined toggle switches alongside a mix of analogue gauges and digital display screens. Additional equipment includes electric windows, climate control, and satellite navigation, enhancing comfort and convenience.

Pricing for the AC Cobra GT Coupe starts at £234,300 for the naturally aspirated model, with the supercharged version priced at £256,300. The introduction of this model signals AC Cars’ commitment to blending classic British sports car heritage with contemporary performance and technology.
