Canadian-American actor Jim Carrey has entered into marriage for the third time, tying the knot with his longtime partner Min Ah in a private ceremony held in Los Angeles on September 30. Carrey, 64, and Ah, believed to be in her early 30s, have kept their relationship relatively private since they were first seen together in 2022 leaving a charity comedy event in Los Angeles.
The couple made their public debut in February 2026 at the 51st César Awards ceremony in Paris, where they appeared alongside Carrey’s daughter Jane and her teenage son Jackson. During the event, Carrey received an Honorary César award and took the opportunity to express gratitude to his family. Speaking in French, he thanked his daughter Jane and grandson Jackson, adding “I love you now and forever,” and also acknowledged Min Ah as his “sublime companion.”
Jane Carrey, 39, is Jim Carrey’s only child from his marriage to former actress Melissa Womer, which lasted from 1987 to 1995. Carrey’s second marriage was to actress Lauren Holly, his co-star in the 1994 film "Dumb and Dumber." That union lasted approximately one year.
In addition to his personal milestones, Carrey continues to be active in his acting career. He currently stars as the antagonist Dr. Ivo Robotnik in the "Sonic the Hedgehog" film series, which began in 2020. The fourth installment in the franchise is scheduled for release in 2027.
