Simi Valley-based Actualyze AI has emerged from stealth mode following a $7 million seed funding round led by Storm Ventures, with participation from Canaan Partners, Morado Ventures, and AME Cloud Ventures, founded by Jerry Yang. The company’s AI-native platform is designed to manage and govern enterprise AI usage by integrating with any OpenAI-compatible models and third-party AI tools.

Actualyze AI is currently offering early access to its hosted platform through a design partner program. The company aims to address challenges enterprises face in managing AI workloads, as the rise of artificial intelligence has introduced a new layer to enterprise technology stacks. According to CEO and co-founder Rafikhardalian, while AI model calls technically function like typical API requests, existing enterprise systems lack the ability to read prompt content, detect potential data leaks, optimize routing, or allocate costs to specific teams efficiently.

The platform created by Actualyze AI routes every AI inference request through a governed path. This approach links each request to the individual user, team, and application responsible, ensuring that access permissions are validated, data usage is monitored, costs are charged against appropriate budgets, and all activity is recorded prior to reaching the model provider. The system also abstracts provider credentials, allowing for intelligent request routing while maintaining governance as the sole access method. This lets enterprises maintain control and flexibility as the landscape of model providers evolves.

Sean Lynch, CTO and co-founder of Actualyze AI, emphasized that the company was built to offer enterprises a unified, governed pathway for every AI request. He highlighted the team’s extensive experience in developing critical infrastructure for business operations and expressed confidence that the market’s readiness aligns with the company’s launch.

By providing a framework that offers visibility, control, and cost management over AI-driven processes, Actualyze AI seeks to support enterprises as they increasingly incorporate artificial intelligence into their workflows.
