Ad 120 Tel Aviv, in collaboration with Ichilov Well and the Movement Group, has launched a new initiative aimed at extending the healthspan and maintaining the functional independence of senior residents. The program, called the Longevity Team, is a pioneering personal and group longevity track offered at the Ad 120 Tel Aviv complex.
This initiative marks Israel’s first integrated longevity program designed specifically for older adults, combining expertise from preventive medicine, nutrition, physical activity, cognitive health, and social engagement. Participants will receive personalized training plans developed after comprehensive assessments, including physiological evaluations, nutritional analysis, and biometric measurements conducted by specialists.
The program spans three months of intensive involvement, followed by ongoing guidance and progress tracking for an entire year. Residents were divided into two groups—Tamar for women and Rimon for men—with each participant provided a personalized kit that includes digital monitoring tools such as a smart ring and training equipment.
Physical activities incorporated in the program include reformer Pilates, gym workouts, walking groups, aquatic release exercises, Feldenkrais and Qigong practices, and sessions in an infrared sauna. Nutrition workshops are tailored to the needs of the elderly, alongside a series of guest lectures covering various aspects of aging and health. Participants also have access to a specialized training center for brain function and cognitive strengthening, collaborating with cognitive psychologist Dr. Shahar Ben Yitzhak.
A core element of the Longevity Team is an educational course that acquaints residents with the latest research and practical strategies to support longevity. Topics covered include physical and mental health maintenance, nutrition, stress management, cognitive enhancement, social connection, and personal development. The course is led by therapist and senior lecturer Yael Haviv, with contributions from experts such as dementia specialist Dr. Dana Pe’er, nutritionist Hadar Klein, and other prominent professionals.
Tomer Rosenberg, CEO of the Ad 120 network, emphasized that the program reflects the network’s leadership role in longevity-focused care, highlighting the personalized approach and professional oversight as key to preserving residents’ independence. Eli Dahan, CEO of the Movement Group, described the initiative as a transformative step that blends preventive medicine and active lifestyles to maximize vitality and quality of life for older adults. Yaron Ben David, CEO of Ad 120 Tel Aviv, underscored the complex’s commitment to providing innovative, tailored longevity solutions alongside existing wellness offerings such as cognitive gyms and cultural programs.
The collaboration between Ad 120, Ichilov Well, and the Movement Group represents a multidisciplinary effort to address the challenges of aging by promoting comprehensive health maintenance and resilience among the elderly population in Israel.
