The Araham Missionary Dhamma College has opened admissions for its seventh batch of the Diploma in Dhamma Studies (Araham Dhamma Mamaka) and the ninth Dhamma Literature Course. The college, operated under the Araham Foundation’s inaugural missionary programme, offers the tuition-free diploma entirely online via Zoom. The 12-month course is structured into three academic semesters.

Designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of Buddhist teachings with an emphasis on practical application, the programme uses open-book examinations instead of rote memorization. It is open to a broad range of learners, including laypersons, monks, and nuns interested in enhancing their knowledge of Buddhist scriptures and Pariyatti studies.

Participants are required to maintain a minimum attendance rate of 85 percent and complete assignments in accordance with the college’s academic regulations. Successful completion of all three semesters results in the awarding of the Diploma in Dhamma Studies (Araham Dhamma Mamaka).

The diploma holds recognition from Buddhist universities in Thailand, India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. Graduates may pursue further studies, such as a Bachelor of Arts in Dhamma Studies, and may gain opportunities to engage in the Araham Foundation’s missionary activities.
