Adnoc Drilling reported a net profit of $1.07 billion for the first nine months of 2026, driven by expanded services and regional operations. The company’s revenue for the period reached $3.7 billion, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) totaled $1.66 billion.
The board of directors approved a third-quarter dividend payment amounting to $350 million, equivalent to approximately 8.03 fils per share. This payout includes a base quarterly dividend of $262.5 million and the initial $87.5 million tranche of a planned $175 million discretionary dividend. The second tranche is pending shareholder approval. If authorized, total dividends for 2026 are expected to reach $1.225 billion, marking a 22.5 percent increase over 2025.
Adnoc Drilling attributed its strong performance to higher-value business segments, such as Oilfield Services (OFS), technology-driven solutions, and regional operations. These areas have contributed to diversifying the company’s earnings and revenue streams as it advances its Drill-to-Operate strategy, which aims to extend its service offering across the entire lifecycle of a well.
Onshore drilling revenue grew by 5 percent year-on-year during the first nine months, bolstered by the integration of regional operations. However, this growth was partially offset by the timing of unconventional activity and by repurposing certain onshore rigs. Offshore drilling revenue increased by 4 percent, supported by additional capacity.
The results reflect the company’s ongoing efforts to broaden its operational footprint and develop technology-enabled services within the drilling sector.
