The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has formalized strategic partnerships with the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) and the Damascus Securities Exchange (DSE) through the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs). The agreements were finalized during the annual conference of the Arab Federation of Capital Markets (AFCM) held in Abu Dhabi.
These MoUs outline a cooperative framework aimed at enhancing market development, facilitating cross-border trading, expanding investor access, and exploring the potential integration of the involved exchanges into the Tabadul hub, a regional digital trading platform.
Abdulla Salem Alnuaimi, Group Chief Executive Officer of ADX, emphasized the importance of increased collaboration among regional financial markets. He noted that such partnerships are critical to unlocking new investment opportunities, deepening market liquidity, and enabling smoother cross-border transactions for both investors and issuers.
The ADX’s move aligns with broader efforts to support capital formation and advance Abu Dhabi’s economic diversification goals under the Abu Dhabi Vision 2030 initiative. The exchange aims to solidify the emirate’s standing as a global investment center through these strategic alliances.
