Television presenter AJ Odudu has confirmed that her fiancé, American art director Peter Gibson, has moved from the United States to London to live with her as they prepare for their upcoming wedding. Although the couple has not yet finalized a date, Odudu expressed enthusiasm about their future plans amid her busy schedule.

Odudu, known for hosting the reality show Big Brother, spoke about her relationship during a recent event where she presented an award. She described their wedding plans as ongoing but temporarily delayed due to her commitments with the current season of Big Brother, which is airing on ITV2. “We’re gonna do it, we’re gonna do the wedding,” she said, but noted the show’s production schedule has taken precedence.

Peter Gibson, previously based in Idaho, had indicated a move to the UK last year, which Odudu confirmed has now taken place. The couple is now living together under the same roof in London.

In addition to discussing her personal life, Odudu reflected on the current Big Brother series, which has drawn positive attention for its dramatic content and engagement with a broad range of societal topics. She remarked that the amount of activity and controversy in the show’s early weeks was unusual compared to previous seasons, noting there had been “a lot of interesting conversations” covering various aspects of contemporary British society.

Odudu also highlighted a recent incident involving a prank where tennis balls with secret messages were thrown over the house’s walls, initially leading her to believe the stunt was orchestrated by producers. She described the surprise upon learning it was an outsider’s prank, calling the moment “crazy.”

As Odudu balances her professional commitments and personal milestones, she remains focused on both her role in Big Brother and the upcoming wedding plans with Gibson.
