Al Faisal Holding, a major diversified private sector conglomerate in Qatar, has partnered with BKN301, a prominent financial technology provider, to establish a new venture aimed at advancing financial technology and digital banking in Qatar and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. The joint initiative, named AFH FINTEQ FOR TRADING and SERVICES, seeks to leverage Al Faisal Holding’s extensive local network and institutional experience alongside BKN301’s innovative technology platform, which incorporates advanced orchestration capabilities and AI-driven financial services infrastructure.

The collaboration is designed to support Qatar’s National Vision 2030 by fostering the development of a diversified and knowledge-based economy, with a particular focus on digital financial infrastructure and private sector-led innovation. By combining local market access with proven international technology, the venture aims to accelerate the modernization of financial services across Qatar and the GCC.

Sheik Jassim bin Faisal Al Thani, board member of Al Faisal Holding, emphasized the significance of the partnership in enhancing Qatar’s financial services sector. He noted that the venture exemplifies the potential when regional institutional strengths align with global expertise, further solidifying Al Faisal Holding’s role as a key partner for leading businesses in the region.

Ali Mahmoudy, Chief Strategy Officer at Al Faisal Holding, highlighted the initiative as a critical step towards localizing established FinTech technologies and tailoring them to meet the needs of the regional market. Mahmoudy stressed that the partnership will help drive innovation, upgrade financial infrastructure, and support economic growth in Qatar and the wider GCC.

BKN301’s Founder and CEO, Stiven Muccioli, described the venture as part of a joint effort to accelerate the adoption of next-generation FinTech and AI solutions.
