The ninth edition of the Hathab Qatar Equestrian Tour continued on Saturday with the tenth round of competition held at the Qatar Equestrian Federation’s main arena in Doha. The Tour, which features 14 rounds over several weeks, had been temporarily paused to accommodate the recently concluded Doha Equestrian Tour.

More than 65 riders participated in the three-day event, competing in two main divisions: the Amateur and Silver Tours. The Silver Tour featured jumps set at 130 centimeters and delivered a competitive field of top riders.

Saudi Arabian equestrian Khaled al-Hadi distinguished himself in the Silver Tour by securing first and third place finishes. Al-Hadi clocked a winning time of 55.89 seconds on Carlton de Sauvageonn, while finishing third riding Capoen in 57.48 seconds. His fellow Saudi competitor Abdullah al-Sharbatly took second place on Inturido, completing the course in 56.29 seconds. The awards ceremony was led by Mohammed Saleh al-Marri, who heads the Championship’s Facilities and Logistics Committee.

In the Amateur Tour, where fences were set at 100 centimeters, Qatar’s Sultan Jassim al-Suwaidi claimed victory aboard Cat Ballou 27 with a time of 26.79 seconds. Faisal Mohammed al-Nuaimi placed second riding Dilandra in 28.27 seconds, followed closely by Salha Khalid al-Obaidli on Roxette van de Achterhoek, who finished third in 28.38 seconds.

The Hathab Qatar Equestrian Tour is organized by the Qatar Equestrian Federation in partnership with Al Shaqab, continuing to provide a platform for equestrian athletes from the region to compete at various levels of the sport.
