Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan led Saudi Arabia’s delegation at the second Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting held under the United States’ G20 Presidency. The gathering commenced on Monday in Asheville, North Carolina.
The Saudi delegation comprised Ayman Alsayari, Governor of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), alongside several senior officials from both the Ministry of Finance and SAMA. The meeting brought together finance leaders and central bank governors from G20 member states to discuss key global economic and financial issues.
As part of the broader G20 agenda, the discussions typically focus on strategies to promote economic stability, foster growth, and address challenges such as inflation, sustainable development, and geopolitical risks affecting global financial markets. The participation of Saudi Arabia at this forum highlights the country’s engagement in shaping international economic policies during the tenure of the US as G20 chair.
