KUWAIT CITY — Ahmed Al-Jarallah, Editor-in-Chief of Al-Seyassah and Arab Times newspapers and a prominent figure in Kuwaiti journalism, met with Omar Belhadj, the Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to Kuwait, on Sunday to discuss enhancing cooperation in the media sector. The meeting took place at Al-Jarallah’s office and included the participation of Fouad Belkhir, Advisor at the Algerian Embassy, as well as Abdulaziz Suleiman Al-Jarallah and Suleiman Al-Jarallah, Deputy Editor-in-Chief.

During the discussions, Al-Jarallah emphasized the longstanding strong ties between Kuwait and Algeria across multiple fields, highlighting the importance of cultural and media collaboration as a means of strengthening bilateral relations. Both parties reviewed issues of mutual interest and explored strategies to further develop their cooperative efforts.

Ambassador Belhadj expressed appreciation for the warm reception and reiterated the significance of the partnership between Al-Seyassah, Arab Times, and the Algerian diplomatic mission. He emphasized the crucial role that media outlets play in fostering understanding and supporting friendly relations between nations.
