Qatar’s Minister of State for International Cooperation, Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser al-Misnad, met with Carl Skau, Acting Executive Director of the World Food Programme (WFP), on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly. The meeting focused on ongoing cooperation between Qatar and the WFP in addressing global food security and humanitarian challenges.

During their discussions, both parties explored opportunities to strengthen partnerships aimed at improving the delivery of aid to vulnerable communities worldwide. Dr. al-Misnad underscored the role of humanitarian diplomacy as a core element of Qatar’s foreign policy, emphasizing its significance in enhancing international responses to crises and conflicts.
