The 2025-2026 Premier Volleyball League resumed on November 1 with two matches held at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Indoor Sports Complex in Kuwait City. The fourth round kicked off at 5:00 p.m. with a match between Sulaibikhat and Qadsia, followed by a highly anticipated contest at 7:00 p.m. featuring defending champion Kuwait Club against league leader Kazma.

Kazma currently leads the league standings with eight points and aims to maintain its advantage and consolidate its position at the top. Close behind, Kuwait Club holds second place with five points and is seeking a win to narrow the gap and catch Kazma ahead of the preliminary stage’s final round. Both teams are viewed as strong contenders for the championship, making their matchup a focal point of the round.

In the earlier fixture, third-placed Qadsia, which has accumulated four points, was favored against Sulaibikhat, who sits near the bottom with only one point. Despite the disparity in experience and resources, Sulaibikhat hopes to improve its performance with the recent addition of Omani professional Falah Salim, commonly known as “The Cuban.” Salim joined the team two days prior to the match, and his potential participation was expected to draw significant attention.

Meanwhile, Al-Arabi remains at the bottom of the standings, having earned just one point so far in the season.

The preliminary stage is set to conclude on November 5. The semifinals will be held on November 9, with the top-ranked team facing the fourth-placed side, and the second-ranked team competing against the third seed. The winners of these matches will advance to the final, scheduled for November 12, to vie for the league championship.
