Alabama secured a 31-20 victory over Texas A&M on Saturday, snapping a two-game losing streak. The 13th-ranked Crimson Tide, now 6-2 overall and 4-2 in Southeastern Conference play, faced the Aggies for the first time since 2023.
Quarterback Keelon Russell was instrumental in the win, passing for 311 yards and three touchdowns. He connected for two scoring passes in the fourth quarter that enabled Alabama to pull ahead after trailing by three points entering the final period.
Texas A&M, which fell to 4-4 overall and 1-4 in the SEC, kept the game close through three quarters. However, Alabama’s late offensive surge proved decisive in securing the victory, marking a return to form for the Crimson Tide following consecutive losses to conference rivals Georgia and Tennessee.
