Alhosh Gallery, in collaboration with Halatech Robotics & AI Edu, launched its “AI & Robotics Summer Camp” on July 26 at Porto Arabia, The Pearl. The program aims to equip young participants with foundational skills in coding, programming, and robotics while fostering creativity and problem-solving abilities.
Designed to bridge recreational activities and academic development, the camp transforms theoretical scientific concepts into practical, hands-on projects. Participants engage in designing, building, and programming their own functional robots, shifting from passive technology users to active creators.
Mahmud Abdussalam, an engineer and high school robotics teacher, highlighted the camp’s value as both an interactive holiday option and a preparatory platform for students. Abdussalam noted that the program provides an insightful experience for newcomers and reinforces skills for those already interested in the field, setting the stage for activities in the upcoming 2026-27 school year.
In addition to technical instruction, the summer camp emphasizes essential soft skills. Through collaborative challenges, students develop critical thinking, rapid problem-solving, and teamwork skills, aligning their education with the demands of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
To maintain an effective learning environment, organizers have limited enrollment to 15 participants per group. This student-to-instructor ratio facilitates personalized guidance and direct supervision throughout the sessions.
The program culminates with a “Tech × Art” exhibition, offering students the opportunity to display their projects in a professional setting. The showcase allows participants to combine technical achievement with artistic expression, providing parents and visitors a chance to engage with the young innovators’ work and fostering confidence in their abilities as creators.
The camp continues to accept registrations for the remaining slots, with organizers encouraging families to secure places promptly before the program closes.
