Jadelyn Allchin powered the Utah Talons to a 6-1 victory over the Chicago Bandits in Game 2 of the Athletes Unlimited Softball League championship series on Sunday in College Station, Texas, securing the Talons’ second consecutive league title.

Allchin delivered a strong offensive performance, hitting a two-run home run in the first inning and adding an RBI double in the fourth, finishing the game with three runs batted in. Her timely hitting helped set the pace as Utah built an early lead and maintained control throughout the contest.

The Talons also received offensive contributions from teammates Bri Ellis and Sahvanna Jaquish, who each recorded home runs, bolstering Utah’s scoring output. On the mound, right-hander Montana Fouts threw a complete game, allowing eight hits and one walk while striking out four batters. Fouts’s steady pitching helped contain the Bandits’ offense despite sustained pressure.

The victory marked a repeat championship for the Utah Talons, who defeated the Chicago Bandits in last year’s inaugural Athletes Unlimited championship series. This back-to-back title run solidifies the Talons’ early dominance in the league.

The Athletes Unlimited Softball League, established to provide a player-driven format with dynamic scoring and team rotation, has seen growing competition and fan engagement in its second season. The Talons’ success reflects strong individual performances combined with cohesive team play under the league’s unique structure.
