Manchester United has secured a deal with Amazon Prime Video to feature the club in the streaming service’s All or Nothing documentary series, focusing on Michael Carrick’s first full season as head coach. The agreement is reported to be worth more than £10 million, making it one of the most lucrative contracts among Premier League clubs participating in the franchise.

The filming is scheduled to begin this summer, with the documentary set to premiere in the summer of 2027 across 240 countries. The series will provide fans worldwide with unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to one of football’s most storied clubs during a pivotal transitional period.

Manchester United will join a list of top-flight teams previously chronicled by Amazon, including Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, and Manchester City. While similar deals have been struck across the league, United’s contract surpasses those agreed with its London and Manchester counterparts.

Discussions between United and Amazon initially took place during the 2024-25 season, but progress stalled as then-head coach Ruben Amorim reportedly expressed reservations about permitting in-depth coverage of the club’s internal operations. Amorim has since departed and is poised to begin his tenure at AC Milan. His move to the Italian club is expected to result in significant financial savings for United, as compensation payments related to his departure will be reduced.

Amorim and Manchester United’s paths are set to cross again ahead of the new season when AC Milan visits for a friendly match in Wroclaw, Poland, on August 15. The fixture will mark an intriguing meeting between the former United coach and his previous club.

As Michael Carrick prepares to lead Manchester United for his first full campaign, the collaboration with Amazon highlights the growing appetite for comprehensive, behind-the-scenes sports content and the club’s willingness to engage with fans on a global scale through digital platforms.
