Kuwait City — The Ambassador of Nepal to Kuwait, Ghanashyam Lamsal, expressed gratitude to the Kuwaiti government for its support following recent severe floods in Nepal. The ambassador's remarks came during an event at the Nepalese Embassy in Kuwait City marking the opening of a condolence book to honor victims of the floods.

The event was attended by Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs Nawaf Abdul Latif Suleiman Al-Ahmad along with several other diplomatic officials. Speaking on behalf of the Nepalese government, its people, and embassy staff, Ambassador Lamsal highlighted the significant human and infrastructural toll caused by the floods.

“These devastating floods resulted in considerable loss of life, destruction of property, and damage to critical infrastructure across Nepal,” he said, noting the scale of the disaster. He underscored the importance of Kuwait’s support and solidarity, describing it as a meaningful reflection of the strengthening ties between the two countries.

The ambassador’s expression of thanks emphasized the value of international cooperation and assistance in times of crisis as Nepal works to recover from the impact of the natural disaster.
