His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani has extended formal congratulations to several foreign leaders in recognition of their respective national occasions. The messages underscore Qatar’s commitment to fostering and deepening diplomatic relations with these countries.
Following the recent swearing-in of King Haakon VIII of Norway, the Amir conveyed his best wishes for success in the monarch’s new role and expressed optimism for continued cooperation between Qatar and Norway. Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani also issued a congratulatory message to King Haakon VIII.
On the occasion of Slovakia’s Constitution Day, the Amir sent congratulations to President Peter Pellegrini. Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani similarly extended their greetings to Slovakia’s Prime Minister Robert Fico.
In Uzbekistan, the Amir marked Independence Day by congratulating President Dr Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Messages of goodwill on this occasion were also sent by the Deputy Amir and the Prime Minister to the Uzbek leadership.
