His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani has extended formal congratulations to several foreign leaders on recent national occasions. In a message to Norway’s King Haakon VIII, following his swearing-in as monarch, the Amir wished the king success in his new role and expressed hopes for continued strengthening of bilateral relations between Qatar and Norway. The Deputy Amir, Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani, also sent a similar congratulatory message to King Haakon.

Additionally, the Amir conveyed congratulations to Slovak Republic President Peter Pellegrini on the anniversary of Slovakia’s Constitution Day. Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al-Thani echoed these sentiments in a separate message to President Pellegrini. Concurrently, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani sent his own congratulations to Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico on the same occasion.

The Amir further issued a congratulatory cable to Uzbekistan’s President Dr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev commemorating the anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Independence Day. The Deputy Amir also sent a similar message to President Mirziyoyev. Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani extended congratulations to Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov to mark the national holiday.

These diplomatic gestures reflect Qatar’s ongoing commitment to maintaining and enhancing its relations with various countries around the world through formal communications on significant state occasions.
