His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani met yesterday with Rabbi Mendy Chitrik, chairman of the Alliance of Rabbis in Islamic States (ARIS), and the accompanying delegation at Lusail Palace. During the meeting, Rabbi Chitrik offered condolences on the passing of His Highness the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani.
The Amir expressed his appreciation for the condolences extended by Rabbi Chitrik. The gathering was also attended by His Excellency the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani, as well as His Excellency the Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed al-Khulaifi.
The meeting underscores the ongoing dialogue and diplomatic engagement between Qatar’s leadership and representatives of religious communities within the Islamic world.
