“There has been no indication of cooperation, even as we approach the dissolution of the state legislative assembly. Perhaps they are also not interested. So, there is no issue (if they are not interested); we will just proceed (without Barisan),” Amirudin stated.

Acknowledging the fluid political landscape ahead of Melaka’s election, he said Pakatan Harapan is preparing for multiple scenarios, including contesting the polls independently, forming new alliances, or cooperating with Barisan Nasional.

“Whatever happens, we are preparing for all scenarios,” he added.
