During a Thursday performance of Andrew Scott’s one-man play "Sea Wall" at Studio Seaview, the show was temporarily halted after an audience member fainted. The incident briefly shifted attention away from the stage, as fellow theatergoers—including Anna Wintour and Ben Platt—initially wondered whether the event was part of the production.
According to witnesses, a noticeable thud was heard when the individual fell, prompting actor Scott to pause the performance. The person was unconscious for approximately three seconds before someone in the audience called out for medical assistance. Two doctors who were attending the show responded quickly to provide aid.
Scott stopped acting for about five minutes while medical attention was administered. After the performance resumed and eventually concluded, the actor spoke personally with the individual who had fainted. There have been no further updates on the condition of the audience member.
