Television presenter Ant McPartlin has relocated from his home in London, citing frustrations with rental electric bikes as a key factor in his decision. The 50-year-old moved from his £6 million residence in Wimbledon to a new environmentally friendly property in Surrey.

McPartlin explained that users of rental e-bikes frequently left the vehicles outside his mansion’s gates, causing him considerable annoyance. He recounted becoming so irritated by the situation that he once knocked the bikes over. The presenter also noted that his reaction led to criticism from local youths, who suggested he had anger issues.

The move marks a change from urban to suburban living for McPartlin, who has expressed a preference for the quieter environment offered by Surrey. The decision reflects ongoing challenges in managing the placement and use of dockless electric bikes in major cities, where concerns over public nuisance and safety have been raised by residents and officials alike.
