Former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and pop singer Katy Perry were seen enjoying a Mediterranean holiday in the south of France, where Trudeau was spotted helping Perry apply sunscreen. The couple appeared relaxed during their outing, which included a boat trip in St Tropez and time spent on a beach near the Le Club 55 restaurant.

Trudeau, 54, dressed casually in a green shirt and chinos, carefully rubbed lotion across Perry’s upper chest, reportedly slipping his hand beneath the neckline of her blue dress to complete the task. Perry, 41, was seen smiling during the intimate moment amid the sunny setting.

The holiday marks the couple’s first anniversary, as they were first publicly seen together in Montreal in July of the previous year. Their relationship became public some months after Perry separated from British actor Orlando Bloom, and two years following Trudeau’s announcement of his separation from his wife, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau.

Perry and Bloom share a five-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, while Trudeau and Gregoire Trudeau have three children together. Recently, Trudeau and Perry made their red-carpet debut at the Tribeca Festival for the premiere of Perry’s concert film, "Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour – Live From Paris." During a question-and-answer session at that event, Perry described being "very in love," noting that the show occurred after she met what she called the "love of my life."

The couple has maintained a relatively low profile since becoming public, with moments such as this recent vacation offering glimpses into their personal life away from public and political duties.
