Mohammad Nairuzzaman, the outgoing deputy commissioner of Nilphamari, has been appointed joint secretary to the Ministry of Social Welfare. Sharifa Haque, previously serving as Tangail’s DC, will assume the position of joint secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs. Mohammad Shaheed Hossain Chowdhury, formerly deputy commissioner of Patuakhali, has been transferred to the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change as joint secretary.
