Set a year after the last events, the new episodes find Huw attempting to distance himself from the past by relocating to a remote coastal home with his wife Alice, played by Sunetra Sarker. Meanwhile, his daughter Margot, portrayed by Indy Lewis, and her boyfriend Sam (Sonny Ashbourne Serkis) are progressing their relationship, which Huw finds difficult to accept.
