Ariana Grande may withdraw from the upcoming West End production of *Sunday in the Park With George*, scheduled to open next summer at London’s Barbican Centre. The singer and actress was set to star opposite Jonathan Bailey, known for his role in *Wicked*, but delays in ticket sales have sparked speculation about her continued involvement.

According to industry sources, the production’s organizers have begun discussions with alternative actresses to potentially replace Grande. Concerns have been raised about her demanding schedule, which includes an ongoing tour and multiple acting commitments. One source noted that Grande appears to be over-extended, making it risky to proceed with ticket sales before her participation is confirmed. The musical is expected to be a challenging endeavor, with performances planned eight times a week.

In recent years, Grande has expanded her career from music into acting, notably portraying Glinda in the *Wicked* film adaptations. Her upcoming projects include a role in the 13th season of *American Horror Story* and voice work for the animated feature *Oh, The Places You’ll Go!*, set for release in 2028. Concurrently, she is engaged in the *Eternal Sunshine Tour*, which features a ten-night residency at London’s O2 Arena in August.

Grande has expressed enthusiasm for her tour but has also indicated uncertainty about the future of such performances. “I’m very excited to do this small tour. But I think it might not happen again for a long, long time,” she recently stated.

As of now, official confirmation of Grande’s involvement in *Sunday in the Park With George* remains pending, with ticket sales expected to commence later in the year once casting is finalized.
