Ashghal receives Excellence Award from National Cyber Security Agency

The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) received the Excellence Award from the National Cyber Security Agency in recognition of its extensive efforts to enhance national cybersecurity, including conducting over 1,000 specialized training sessions. This award highlights Ashghal's significant role in advancing cybersecurity awareness and readiness among government entities, strengthening the country's overall digital defense.

The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) was honored with the Excellence Award by the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) during the “From Adoption to Impact” event, recognizing the authority’s efforts to bolster national cybersecurity capabilities and expertise. The award was accepted on Ashghal’s behalf by Rashid Saeed al-Hajri, manager of the Human Resources Department.

Ashghal earned the accolade following its engagement in over 1,000 training sessions related to specialized cybersecurity programs and initiatives. These efforts have contributed to a sustained increase in cybersecurity awareness among employees and improved their preparedness to address evolving digital threats.

Out of six distinguished government entities nationwide, Ashghal was distinguished for its role in promoting corporate excellence, enhancing national cybersecurity capabilities, and achieving measurable progress in the sector. The award underscores the authority’s commitment to supporting the country’s cyber resilience amid an increasingly digital landscape.
