The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) is advancing a major infrastructure project in Umm Slal Mohammed West, with an investment exceeding QR1 billion. The initiative aims to provide integrated infrastructure for more than 740 land plots allocated to citizens, supporting residential development and improving living conditions in the area.

The development includes the construction of extensive road networks, as well as stormwater and sewage systems. In addition, the project encompasses the installation of treated water networks, potable water pipelines, electricity and telecommunications infrastructure, street lighting, and landscaping.

This effort is part of Ashghal’s broader strategy to expand and modernize infrastructure throughout Qatar. The authority is aligning the project with the country’s wider urban development plans to ensure newly designated residential neighborhoods have access to high-quality services that meet both present and future needs of residents.
