A diverse lineup of Asian and Malaysian artists is set to perform at the Tiger Roar Asian Music Festival on October 31 at the Mines International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Seri Kembangan, Selangor. The event, taking place from 5 p.m. until midnight, will showcase a range of musical genres, including rock, R&B, M-pop, and hip-hop.
Leading the festival is Paul Wong, renowned guitarist and vocalist from the influential Hong Kong rock band Beyond, alongside Taiwanese-American singer-songwriter and rapper Ozi. The Malaysian contingent features a variety of acts, such as the singer-dancer trio 3P, Cantonese hip-hop group ManHanD, independent hip-hop artist Dato’ Maw, rapper and songwriter Elva Suyan, and the Chinese hip-hop duo S.A.C.
The music festival is the culmination of the Tiger Courage Beats digital initiative, which encourages participants to share personal stories of courage. Using artificial intelligence, these stories are transformed into personalized songs that can be customized by genre, voice, and language. The AI-generated audio and visual productions are designed to be shared on social media platforms, creating an interactive experience that connects audiences through music.
Tiger Beer Malaysia marketing manager Julie Kuan emphasized the festival’s celebration of courage through music, noting that individual acts of bravery gain strength when acknowledged collectively. She highlighted the diverse musical styles featured at the event as a reflection of the many forms courage can take.
General admission and VIP passes, which include perks such as VIP entrance and access to a dedicated bar with a complimentary drink, are available. Tickets can be obtained online at uncage.tigerbeer.com or by purchasing Tiger products at selected retail outlets, restaurants, and e-commerce platforms until October 15. Pass availability is limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
