The Aspire Zone Foundation, in partnership with the Qatar Cancer Society, hosted the Pink Walk on Saturday, 24 October 2026, at Aspire Park to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The event commenced at 4:00 p.m. and drew approximately 1,000 participants who completed a one-kilometre route along Aspire Lake.
Specialised female trainers led the walk, offering guidance and support to attendees throughout the course. Alongside the walk, the event featured a Pink Corner where visitors received information on the significance of early detection and strategies for breast cancer prevention. Participants also took part in warm-up and relaxation exercises supervised by the trainers, and gifts were distributed to show appreciation for their involvement.
Ameena Jassim Al Kuwari, director of Marketing at Aspire Zone Foundation, expressed gratitude to the Qatar Cancer Society for their collaboration in organising the event. She highlighted the role of such initiatives in promoting awareness of cancer prevention and early diagnosis. Al Kuwari also acknowledged the contributions of event sponsors, noting their essential role in the event’s success and in advancing public health objectives. She described Aspire Park as a community hub well-suited for fostering health awareness and encouraging individuals to prioritize their own well-being and that of their families.
The Pink Walk aligns with the Aspire Zone Foundation’s broader commitment to corporate social responsibility and supports the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030, especially its Human Development pillar. Breast Cancer Awareness Month is observed internationally to raise awareness about cancer risks, emphasize preventive measures, and generate funding for research efforts.
This year’s event received backing from key partners including main sponsors Jetour and Qatar Cancer Society; strategic partner New Balance; media sponsor Qommunication; humanitarian partner Qatar Red Crescent; and additional event partners Naseem Medical Centre, Symphony, Aseel Water, Kahramaa, and the National Centre for Cancer Care and Research.
