The Netherlands international reportedly favors a move to City over interest from Tottenham Hotspur. Liverpool, having recently secured Bradley Barcola for £123 million, are understood to be demanding a significant fee for Gakpo as they aim to bolster their attacking options ahead of Tuesday’s transfer deadline.
Meanwhile, Juventus are progressing with a deal to acquire Tottenham midfielder Pape Matar Sarr on a loan arrangement that includes an obligation to buy. The 23-year-old Senegalese player has attracted proposals from Monaco, Nottingham Forest, and Besiktas, but Juventus currently lead the race. Tottenham head coach Roberto De Zerbi confirmed that Sarr, alongside Richarlison and Kevin Danso, has expressed a desire to leave the club.
