Qatari authorities have detained three European nationals on charges of conducting unlicensed medical and cosmetic procedures. The arrests followed a coordinated investigation by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Public Health, which was initiated after authorities received information regarding unauthorized activities.

The suspects were apprehended after obtaining authorization from the Public Prosecution. Upon arrest, they reportedly admitted to the allegations. Alongside the individuals, authorities confiscated tools and supplies related to the alleged illegal medical and cosmetic work. All parties and seized materials have been referred to the Public Prosecution for further legal action.

Officials from both ministries have cautioned the public against engaging with advertisements for medical or cosmetic services without verifying that the facilities and practitioners hold the appropriate licenses. They emphasized the importance of confirming that healthcare providers are officially recognized by relevant regulatory bodies to ensure public safety and discourage involvement with unlicensed operations.
