Auto Class Cars, a subsidiary of the Nasser Bin Khaled (NBK) Group and the authorized distributor of Lynk & Co in Qatar, has officially introduced the Lynk & Co 900 Full-size Flagship PHEV SUV to the Qatari market. The unveiling event took place at the Rosewood Hotel Doha in Lusail, drawing a host of distinguished guests, industry stakeholders, and media representatives.

The Lynk & Co 900 represents a significant advancement in the luxury plug-in hybrid SUV segment, combining European safety engineering with advanced Chinese electric vehicle technology. It features a length of 5.24 meters and is built on the SPA Evo platform, offering a spacious three-row cabin tailored to modern family needs. Notable interior attributes include rotating second-row seats, multiple 30-inch 6K OLED screens, and premium materials such as Nappa leather upholstery, augmented reality head-up displays, and customizable ambient lighting.

Under the hood, the vehicle employs a sophisticated hybrid powertrain that integrates a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine functioning primarily as a generator, alongside three electric motors arranged in a three-speed dual hybrid transmission (DHT) setup. This configuration delivers a combined system output of up to 528 kW (710 hp) and approximately 1,000 Nm of torque, allowing the SUV to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in about 4.6 seconds. The hybrid battery has a capacity of 52.38 kWh, providing an electric-only range of up to 170 kilometers under the NEDC cycle, while fast charging capability enables replenishing the battery from 20% to 80% in 17 minutes. The vehicle’s total driving range reaches approximately 870 kilometers thanks to the combination of electric and fuel sources.

The SUV’s exterior includes design features such as a panoramic fixed glass roof, large 20/21-inch alloy wheels, and a unique split tailgate known as the Electric Unbounded Tailgate, which can open upward or fold down to serve as a shelter or seating area. The vehicle rides on 275/45 R21 tires and offers around 20 centimeters of ground clearance.

Safety and driver assistance systems are a focal point of the Lynk & Co 900. The SUV utilizes the NVIDIA Drive OrinX processor and a LiDAR system with 126 beams as part of its advanced driver-assistance suite, which includes Level 2 autonomy, adaptive cruise control with lane centering, highway assist, automatic emergency braking, and blind-spot monitoring. Structural integrity has been rigorously tested, with the vehicle demonstrating resilience in high-speed rear and side impacts while maintaining passenger compartment safety, supported by an 11-airbag system throughout the cabin.

The launch event highlighted the vehicle’s blend of luxury, technology, and practicality, with company officials emphasizing its role in reshaping mobility and setting new standards for PHEV SUVs in the region. His Excellency Sheikh Faleh Bin Nawaf Al Thani, Managing Director of the Automotive Sector at NBK Group, described the introduction of the Lynk & Co 900 as a milestone reflecting the company’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge products to the Qatari market. Frank Zauner, General Manager of Auto Class Cars, expressed confidence that the model would become the preferred choice for discerning drivers seeking innovation and luxury.

The Lynk & Co 900 is now available for viewing and booking at Auto Class Cars’ showroom in Qatar, opening a new chapter for the brand’s presence in the Middle Eastern full-size luxury SUV market.
