Awsaj Academy, part of Qatar Foundation’s Pre-University Education, held a graduation ceremony on June 9, 2026, at the Qatar National Convention Centre to celebrate 360 students completing the Prime Programme Class of 2026. The event was attended by graduates, their families, and members of the academy’s academic and administrative teams.

The Prime Programme is an evening education initiative designed to support high school students in both government and private schools who encounter academic challenges. It provides a flexible and supportive learning environment aimed at helping students meet their educational objectives and prepare for future academic and career opportunities.

Hamza Dhaini, principal of the Prime Programme, highlighted the significance of the milestone for the graduates and their families. He noted that many students came into the program facing learning difficulties or other challenges, but through perseverance and dedicated support from the academy’s staff, they were able to achieve significant progress. Dhaini emphasized that the programme offers more than just academic instruction, incorporating the development of personal and life skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and responsibility. This comprehensive approach is intended to equip students with the ability to pursue higher education, vocational training, or enter the workforce with confidence and independence.

The graduates are set to follow a variety of paths tailored to their individual strengths and aspirations. Whether continuing their education or entering professional training and employment, they leave the programme with foundational skills designed to support lifelong learning and growth.

Among the graduates, 25-year-old Jamla Rashid al-Jassim credited Awsaj Academy’s supportive environment and accessible teaching methods for her success and encouraged others facing academic challenges not to give up on their goals. Similarly, 24-year-old Faisal Abdullah Issa described his graduation as a pivotal moment, reflecting years of hard work and resilience supported by his teachers and peers.

The ceremony underscored the academy’s commitment to fostering educational opportunities for students who require alternative learning pathways to succeed academically and prepare for future endeavors.
